The detail on the feathers is incredible. It was subsequently sold through Free Spirit Gallery to a lucky new owner in the USA.

Walrus Inuit Art Sculpture
Monday, July 26th, 2010#inuit #art #arctic — Another Inuit art sculpture I acquired during my first trip up to the Arctic in 2004 was this one of a walrus. The stone is local Arctic serpentine while the walrus tusks are carved from caribou antler.
