Rare Canadian Aboriginal Art Beaver Carvings

Sunday, December 5th, 2010

#canadian #art aboriginal - Cody Mathias made two very rare Canadian aboriginal art beaver carvings for our fall 2010 collection. Northwest native artists do not use the beaver as a subject that often for some reason so these two pieces are very special. If you want an opportunity to own one of these rare artwork, check them out now at Free Spirit Gallery.

Canada Post To Deliver 7 Days For Holiday Season

Canada Post Increases Delivery Schedule

Just saw on the news that Canada Post will be increasing delivery of packages to Canadian addresses to seven days per week for this holiday season. They made this decision due to the increase in online shopping and this increase in schedule will help ensure that packages will arrive by Christmas.

Canada Post has added extra shifts to accommodate this increase but they have said that the extra deliveries on Saturdays and Sundays will be for parcels only, not letters.

Get Native American Art and Inuit Art Orders In Now

What this means for Canadian addresses is that orders for Native American art (actually Northwest Indian art from the Pacific west coast in BC) and Inuit art at Free Spirit Gallery should be put in right away. In fact, Canada Post said that shipments should be sent out be December 11 at the latest to ensure Christmas delivery to Canadian addresses.

They didn’t mention the timing for United States or overseas destinations but I would assume that they would like to see shipments outside of Canada even earlier. So now that the fall 2010 collection of new Northwest Indian art carvings are in as well as prints, I would highly suggest that orders be made sooner or later in order to get your artwork by Christmas.

Canadian Aboriginal Art From West Coast

Friday, December 3rd, 2010

#canadian #aboriginal #canada #art - Here is another piece from the new fall 2010 collection of our Canadian aboriginal art carvings from the west coast. This is a new killerwhale orca carving by master aboriginal art carver Cody Mathias of the Squamish Nation in BC.

New Canadian Aboriginal Art

Cody and his nephew George Stokes (also his student) have produced an awesome new collection of eighteen carvings including killerwhales, eagles, salmons, bears and even rare beavers. They are all signed by the carver.

These are one of a kind, original artwork, not mass produced souvenirs. They represent your chance to proudly own one of these unique and beautiful Canadian aboriginal art pieces which are displayed at our online Free Spirit Gallery website.

Once each piece is sold, it is gone since they are original. So if you have your eyes on a particular carving, order it promptly before it is taken by somebody else.

Native American Indian Art For Christmas Shopping

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

#art #nativeamerican #indian — The next Northwest Native American Indian art carvings that just came in are perfect as really unique and special gifts for your friends, family and colleagues for Christmas. However, keep in mind that when Christmas shopping online at Free Spirit Gallery and any other online website for that matter, factor in the time needed for shipping.

It’s the beginning of December now and you really should do your online shopping now to get a cushion of time for shipping so that these carvings arrive to you in time for you to give out for Christmas. You don’t want to be disappointed with late deliveries - although a nice original, one of a kind Northwest Native American Indian art carving by master carver Cody Mathias or George Stokes received a bit late is still a good thing!

So do your Christmas shopping now and if there is a piece that you really have your eyes on, order it right away so that we still have a few weeks to get it to you. For destinations in North America, our free shipping will still allow carvings to reach you in time for Christmas.

For international destinations, you may have to put in a little bit for faster shipping in order for our Native American Indian art to get to you if you really want pieces by Christmas. Otherwise if you are in no particular rush, you will likely get shipments after New Year.

In any case, the new carvings are in so do have a look at our Northwest Indian art carvings section to see what the new collection looks like.

New Northwest Native Art Carvings Have Arrived!

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

#nativeamerican #art - I have some awesome news! The new fall 2010 collection of Northwest Native art carvings by master Cody Mathias and George Stokes (his nephew) are in. Here is the video overview of them;

To get more details on each carving, just start at our Northwest Native carvings section at our gallery. Then go to each category of interest.

Once you see a carving you might want to check out, click on its image or item number. Note that if you see an image at the gallery that does NOT have an item number (eg., nea-33), then the photo is just for a display piece, not one that is in stock.

Hope you like the new collection. It was eagerly awaited and now it’s here just in time for holiday shopping season but hurry because each piece is one of a kind. Once a piece is gone, it’s gone!

We always welcome your feedback and comments on our artwork below.
