Sunday, July 25th, 2010#art #inuit #eskimo - Here’s another piece I liked from the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau near Ottawa, Canada. This one is of a muskox. Muskox Inuit Eskimo art carvings are usually very special because they are not that common and require a lot of work especially in the body detail. The antler of this muskox is likely caribou antler.
