A very interesting project involved a client who wanted special commissioned Pacific Northwestern Native American artwork done of four animals, each representing a member of his family. This customer wanted a red-tailed hawk, a flicker (woodpecker bird), and two different snakes. The idea was to use these drawings as images for tattoos that each family member will get. We commissioned Pacific Northwestern Native American artist Lance Joseph to do these drawings and the resulting artwork is shown below.
Another master carver, Cody Mathias, can do custom pieces with either a traditional bumpy finish or a smooth one. Below is a wonderful piece he did for one of our customers. It is a bald eagle holding a salmon. This piece measures 26 inches by 16 inches.

Here's an example of another custom piece done by Cody Mathias, this time with a traditional finish. this special piece is of a marbled murrelet, an endangered species of bird in the Pacific Northwest. This particular piece was commissioned as a graduation present.
