I have always had a deep appreciation for aboriginal art so after 20 years, I left corporate industry to start Free Spirit Gallery which specializes in Inuit art and Northwest Indian art including sculptures, carvings as well as prints.
Most of our Canadian aboriginal art treasures were acquired directly from the artists themselves during my travels to the Arctic and Pacific Northwest coast. I have developed excellent working relationships with many talented aboriginal artists and have access to their best artwork.
After being an
exclusively online gallery selling both Inuit art and
Northwest Native American art, we decided to no longer
continue primarily as a retailer of artwork. We stopped
stocking Inuit art and now refer our website visitors to
selected partner galleries if they want to acquire
artwork We stock a very limited number of Northwest
Native art but also refer to our partner galleries for more
selection.
Since starting Free Spirit Gallery, we have shipped beautiful artwork to satisfied customers worldwide including North America, Europe and Asia
Now, we just wish to continue our website as a rich information resource on Canadian aboriginal art for our customers and visitors- see Inuit art articles and Northwest Indian art articles.
