Twenty One New Northwest Indian Art Pieces Added

New Northwest Indian Art Pieces

This is an exciting week because we’ve added 21 new Northwest Indian art pieces. For months now, we have not had any new artwork but all of a sudden, we’ve made an arrangement with Northwest artist Alfie Fishgap to showcase some of his available work.

Alfie Fishgap as some of you might recall, is one of the two native artists who brought us the dual native style art print called United Bears. He also happens to be a master carver and the new pieces here at Free Spirit Gallery show that.

Variety Of Northwest Indian Art

There is quite a variety in the types of pieces Alfie Fishgap is offering. We have everything from wall plaques, to 3-D pieces to even fishing lures (one shown above) in art form. We even have a native killerwhale box and some pieces that are functioning picture frames (but most certainly not your usual store frame).

The detail in his work is incredible and many of the designs are burned into the wood. He also uses other materials such as shell, conch, beads, feathers and glass to embellish his artwork.

The best thing to do is to start at our Northwest Indian Art Carvings webpage and go into each of the different categories to see what he’s done. Much of his artwork is actually in the Other Northwest Carvings category but we have added the odd piece in some of the other categories as well.

So do some browsing at our Northwest Indian art section to check out some of Alfie Fishgap’s artwork. Take your time as there are 21 new pieces to discover!
