Inuit Carving Sold
We had a very special dancing polar bear Inuit carving at our gallery for quite some time. Although it was one of our more higher priced pieces at $575, a similar Inuit carving at a street gallery would easily be double that figure.
But nevertheless, online shopping does have price limitations especially for artwork since it can’t be inspected in person. Although having said that, GTA customers are able to make appointments with us to see any of the artwork we have in person.
Dancing Polar Bear By Master Inuit Carver
This particular dancing polar bear was carved by Moe Pootoogook of Cape Dorset, one of the premiere carvers of dancing bears from the Canadian Arctic. A very lucky customer from BC finally claimed this special piece last week.
Like all other pieces at Free Spirit Gallery, this one was a one of a kind, unique artwork without any duplicates available. Once it is purchased, no other copies are available.
We hope to get more Inuit art carvings in soon and of course, we are still waiting for the next collection of Northwest Native art carvings to arrive from BC.
Stay tuned for announcements.
