#art #inuit #arctic — Here is an example of a high end Inuit art polar bear sculpture. The carver added an additional part to the polar bear which turned out to be an Arctic fish to be carried in the bear’s mouth.
The way the Inuit carver accomplishes this is a hole is drilled inside the polar bear’s mouth. Then a small piece of wood, much like a dowel, is used to connect the fish with the bear.
I recall that this particular Inuit art polar bear sculpture was sold to a lucky owner in the UK. How do you like this polar bear?
