Northwest Indian Art
Northwest Indian art carver Alfie Fishgap has produced some very unique artwork and this includes incorporating native designs on actual working picture frames. Of course, these are not your usual store bought picture frames. Instead, these particular frames become unique, one of a kind pieces of original artwork.
The one pictured above is possibly my favourite frame by Fishgap so far. It has a human, raven, salmon and bear on it making the frame a rather complex, detailed piece of artwork.
Another one I really like is the Northwest Indian art salmons on a picture frame pictured below. Salmons as you might know, are a favourite subject of Northwest Indian art culture.
