Close Up Of Inuit Basket Handle

Inuit Basket Handle

Here’s a close up of the fish carving that serves as the handle of the lid of the Inuit basket by Lucy Weetaluktuk that just got shipped out to a lucky customer in Michigan this morning. It is a really special piece of Inuit artwork.

There was a previous video shot with this particular basket and it’s at Inuit Basket Video in case you missed it. This was actually our last Inuit basket in stock and we really don’t know when we will be getting anymore of them since they are quite seasonal in nature in terms of production. The Inuit women up in Nunavik or Northern Quebec Arctic only make these when there are enough lyme sea grass available.
