If you are following the NHL hockey playoffs, the Vancouver Canucks are well underway round 2 after defeating the St Louis Blues in a four game sweep.  You might be asking what hockey has to do with Native art.

Just in case if you are not familiar with the Vancouver Canucks, their team logo happens to feature a Northwest Native art inspired orca killerwhale.  And since the Canucks have progressed to the second round of the NHL playoffs, this design is being exposed to
lots of hockey fans, many who are not familiar with Northwest Native art.
