This has been a long awaited month because in case you were not already aware, the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada is finally taking place.  This event will not only showcase Canada, but also our Native and Inuit cultures.  The official logo for the 2010 Winter Olympics is based on the Inuit inukshuk.

Although there was controversy about this logo when it was first announced some time ago, looks like time did its thing by hopefully forgetting about the bickering and now focusing on the games itself.  This will also be a great opportunity to educate the world about the Inuit as well.
