December
2009
As you might know, the Olympic torch is now going through parts of Canada enroute to Vancouver where the 2010 Winter Olympics
will take place. Did you know that part of the route includes the
Arctic north? The organizers wanted to include the Arctic as part
of
the route and the torch even made it to Canada's most northerly base in
Alert, Nunavut. I just thought this might be a bit of interesting
news to share since much of our gallery website focuses on Inuit art.
Original
art is not exactly on every art lover's minds during 2009 as another
year of the economic crunch. But this doesn't mean that you can't
get access to beautiful art in other forms. Both Inuit and Native
American art come in the form of relatively inexpensive
posters and prints.
If
original art is not in the budget for this holiday season's gift
giving, consider high quality posters and prints at one of our
partners. Both Inuit and Native American themes are represented
at the links below.
If you still have your eyes on 2010 calendars, here are the categories again.
On
that note, I want to thank you for being a subscriber of this
newsletter and I wish you and your family a safe, wonderful holiday
season.
Until the New Year,
Clint
