African Art Paintings and Prints

African art paintings and prints are among the most colorful of all native artwork. This may seem like such a big contradiction since African art is coming out from the mysterious 'dark continent' of Africa.

African art paintings can depict life in Africa village scenes involving people doing everyday things such as cooking, caring for their children and playing. Of course, there are paintings as well as prints of the majestic wildlife found in Africa including lions, elephants, giraffes and rhinos. Some African art paintings are quite realistic while some are abstract but both are very inspiring showing just how proud African artists are of their land.
