This is an exquisite Eskimo sculpture of father and baby narwhals by Juta Ipeelee of Iqaluit, Nunavut. Juta was born in 1965.
This carving is 9 1/2 inches in length including the tusk, 3 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high including the base. The tusk is 2 3/4 inches and made of caribou antler. The piece is signed by the carver.
