This is an exquisite Inuit art sculpture of a musk oxen by Billy Nutaraq of Inukjuak, Nunavik. It is a very unique representation of a musk ox.
This carving is 3 1/4 inches in length, 1 1/4 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches high. It's a beautiful dark stone with natural brown veining. It is signed by the carver. The horns are made of caribou antler.
