This is an exquisite Inuit art carving of an Arctic fish by Adamie Niviaxie of Inukjuak, Nunavik. Adamie is one of the most prolific carvers of Arctic fish carvings.
This Arctic fish carving is 4 inches high, 1 1/4 inches by a nice 9 1/4 inches long. It is a solid carving weighing in at over 2 1/2 pounds. The beautiful dark green gray stone is has natural white veining.
