
This is an exquisite Inuit carving of a drum dancer being followed by a polar bear by Gideon Taqaogak of Iqaluit, Nunavut. Gideon was born in 1949 and is one of the most established carvers in Nunavut.
This carving, made entirely from caribou antler, is 4 inches in deep, 2 inches wide and 5 inches high. It is signed by the carver.
