This is an exquisite Inuit carving of a female drum dancer by Johnnylee Nooveya of Iqaluit, Nunavut. Johnnylee was born in 1972 and is one of the new rising starts on the carving scene.
This carving is 5 1/2 inches in deep, 6 1/2 inches wide and 7 inches high. It is signed by the carver. The stone is green serpentine. The drum stick is made of caribou antler.
