This is an exquisite Inuit Eskimo art sculpture of a polar bear by Harry Ikalukjuak of Iqaluit, Nunavut. Harry was born in 1950 and is one of the most established carvers in Nunavut.
This carving is 7 1/2 inches in length, 3 3/4 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches high. It is signed by the carver. The stone is black serpentine.
