This is an exquisite polar bear Inuit sculpture by Nujalia Tunnillie of Cape Dorset, Nunavut. It has beautiful curves on the bear. Nujalia is one of the best emerging polar bear carvers.
This carving is 5 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches high. The stone is a beautiful dark gray serpentine with very unique white yellow natural veining.
Since this is an authentic, hand-made, one of a kind Inuit artwork, it comes with an official Canadian government Igloo tag as well as a signed gallery certificate certifying its authenticity.
