This is an exquisite Eskimo art sculpture of a dancing bear by Qummuattuq Simeonie of Cape Dorset, Nunavut.
This carving is 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches and 5 1/2 inches high. The stone is a beautiful dark gray serpentine with green and white natural veining.
Since this is an authentic, hand-made, one of a kind Inuit artwork, it comes with an official Canadian government Igloo tag as well as a signed gallery certificate certifying its authenticity.
