This is an exquisite Inuit art sculpture of a polar bear by Qaraq Nungusuitok from Cape Dorset, Nunavut.
This polar bear carving is 4 3/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches high. It is signed by the carver. The stone is serpentine with natural veining.
