This is an exquisite Inuit carving of a dancing bear by Ning Pootoogook of Cape Dorset, Nunavut. Ning's dancing bears resemble the A&W bear in physique.
This carving is 6 1/2 inches high, 3 1/4 inches by 3 inches. It is signed by the carver. This is a beautiful black gray serpentine stone.
