This is an exquisite Inuit carving of a polar bear by Johnnylee Akpalialuk of Pangnirtung, Nunavut. This is a rare carving that shows the bear's teeth.
This carving is 8 3/4 inches in length, 4 inches wide and 4 inches high. It is signed by the carver. The stone is serpentine.
Since this is an authentic, hand-made, one of a kind Inuit artwork, it comes with an official Canadian government Igloo tag as well as a signed gallery certificate certifying its authenticity.
